In this Mid Year Report I have outlined the conditions impacting your chart over the next 12 months, from Mid 2010 to Mid 2011. It's just 12 short months, but the amount of change is phenomenal, with what we would normally expect over several years being compressed into just 12 short months.

A typical year looks like this:

The Sun, Mercury and Venus travel as a pack, with Mercury and Venus never more than 46 degrees ahead of or behind the Sun, which is 1 ½ signs, so they visit the same areas of your chart at around the same time every year. At the same time Mars has an orbit of around 22 months, so will visit an area of your chart every other year. Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion normally changes sign once every 12 months, so it's very 'normal' to have Jupiter change signs and therefore spend time in 2 areas of your chart in a 12 month period. Once we get beyond Jupiter things usually slow down, with Saturn changing signs once every 2 to 2 ½ years, Chiron every 5 years, Uranus every 7 years, Neptune every 14 or so years, Pluto every 15 to 20 years and the North Node once every 18 to 20 months. So in a typical year the Sun, Mercury and Venus will spend time in all 12 areas of your chart, Mars may visit around half the areas of your chart and Jupiter will most probably change sign at some point during the 12 months, spending time in 2 areas of your chart. Every other year you will probably get Saturn changing signs, but that's usually all the variation that you get in a typical 12 month period and in some years you don't even get that.

So what kind of activity do we have during the next 12 months? Anything BUT normal.

Over the course of the next 12 months the Sun, Mercury and Venus will visit all 12 areas of your chart, as per normal, Mars will visit 10 out of the 12 areas of your chart, which is a little more than you'd normally expect but is not too wild, Jupiter will visit 3 areas of your chart, not the 2 you might normally expect and Saturn changes sign, as you might expect once every other year. To this point this is just slightly out of the norm and what you might expect from a moderately busy 12 month period, though as Jupiter normally only changes sign once every 12 months, having the planet of luck in 3 different areas of your chart is far from the norm and that it happens at the same time that Saturn changes sign is a coincidence, but not so much that it breaks all the moulds. It's what comes next that sets the next 12 months apart, for Chiron who only changes signs once every 5 years will change signs twice, Uranus who only changes signs once every 7 years changes signs - twice! It gets even more unusual when Neptune, who hasn't changed signs since 1998 also changes sign and is topped off with the lunar nodes shifting as well. The only planet in the whole solar system that doesn't change signs over the course of the next 12 months is Pluto, who is ironically the planet of change and revolution.

This makes the next 12 months an extremely active period, creating a period of flux that we've been in since last year, but only started to accelerate towards the end of May. We as individuals and the planet as a whole are going through a period of enormous change and transformation and there's hardly an area of your chart or your life that isn't touched in some way.

As well as an enormous amount of change there are also some dramatic oppositions and conjunctions, once again between Saturn on one side and Uranus and Jupiter on the other. However, they're on a different playing field than we experienced in the past, bringing challenges but to areas of your chart where there are enormous opportunities. And where there were challenges in the past, there are huge opportunities in the coming months, with a complete turnaround possible. This means that it's more about the universe grabbing us by the shoulders and shouting at us to 'wake up'!

I have written this Report in a way that empowers you with the information on what's happening, where it's happening and what it means ahead of time, giving you a roadmap. There is nothing in the next 12 months that should take you by surprise or catch you unawares, not if you have this Report, which I'm delighted that you do. I don't want your life to be a spectator sport, where you're watching from the sidelines wondering which way the game will go. I want to empower you so that you're down on centre court, a participant in your own life, determining how the game is played.

While Astrology can make 'suggestions', it cannot make 'predictions', because if that was the case we would all be puppets, our lives already mapped out for us and we may as well be sitting in that comfy seat, watching from the sidelines. Life isn't like that and the cosmos works in a way that is far more amazing than that and we have a lot more power than we realise. To me Astrology is a partnership between the individual and the cosmos, with the future not written in stone, instead a maze of possibilities and choices, with the free will to make our own choices and decisions. To me, what Astrology does is give you a behind the scenes blueprint of the mechanics at work, so that by having the information you need, ahead of time, you're not stabbing in the dark, making blind choices. Instead you're able to make informed choices, knowing exactly which way the cosmic tides are turning, when they're turning, where they're turning and what choices and options you have. It is then, armed with this information, that you're able to make choices and decisions, playing the game of life in your own way, so that you're able to create a phenomenal and empowered life.

The planets and what they are doing over the next 12 months and beyond can't tell you what will happen in your life, but they create possibilities and they offer suggestions, creating a bias that you're able to manipulate to your advantage.

So there is a huge amount happening, a lot of change within the outer planets in terms of moving signs and therefore changing agendas and a lot of activity between the planets, as well as other exciting events that are far from the norm, which you'll read about below. I see change as an opportunity for growth, but also that it pays to have a road map for these very exciting times ahead, times that we are already in.

All 12 areas of your chart will be active over the course of the next 12 months, with almost every area of your chart having something unique happening, over and above the activity you'd normally expect each year. I've written the content below in a way that when you print out this Report, the 12 different areas of your chart will become 12 separate Mini Reports. While you may want to read this in its entirety, I've written this in a way that you're able to zero in on each area of your chart independently and also that by looking at the dates in the Fact Box at the top that you can see at a glance when there'll be activity and also when the New and Full Moons are, which are the times when things are more likely to come to a head.
