Aries February Stars

General:
February is always a month of two halves for you, with the end of February marking your entry into the final stage of your current solar year. This is a month when you move into the month with a lot of focus on networking, with things on the professional front normally sorted by the beginning of the month and without too much thought to slowing down until the last part of the month. This year things overlap to the point where things are still very open on the professional front and as well as the normal social and networking focus, you are already in the process of closing off old doors. Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking, who should by rights have left your career sector before the end of 2009, is still there and until he leaves on the 10th February his focus is on making sure that things are on track and moving in the right direction, while continuing to keep a lot of doors open. Meanwhile, while the Sun won't begin closing down your current solar year until the 19th February and Venus not until the 14th February, Jupiter has already begun the process. The process of wrapping up a Jupiter cycle that began in February 2000 and preparing for a Jupiter return in June has already begun, creating a month with a lot of extremes and a lot of optimism.

Love:
As Saturn spends his first full month in retrograde motion in your relationship sector, Mars spends his last month in retrograde motion in your romantic sector. So while there is a lot of focus on the past this month, especially from the 12th February when Venus moves into a more nostalgic part of your chart, this also means that you're on the brink of new beginnings. With Venus, planet of love due to return to your sign on the 8th March and Mars, planet of passion, due to turn direct in your romantic sector just 3 day later, on the 11th March, the doors to the future are about to open. This makes it even more important that you make the most of the opportunity you have this month to get as close as possible to the past. There may be some pressure mid month, when Mars once again comes under opposition, this time from Mercury, planet of communication. This is just the right amount of pressure, at the right time, reminding you of a need to give the past a voice.

Money:
With neither of your money houses active this month and no planetary activity due in either until Venus moves into your income sector on the 1st April, the focus is still on getting things on track professionally, working with Mercury until he leaves your career sector on the 10th February. Mercury is wrapping up a 2 month visit that began on the 6th December, aimed at getting you on the right professional track. It's from there, that the income opportunities Venus will begin to attract from the 1st April onwards will spring. It's on the professional front that even the biggest opportunities that will begin to manifest from the end of May onwards can also find their roots. This makes it even more important to work with the Moon, who visits both your money houses each month. It was a Full Moon in your income sector on the 30th January that casts a shadow over the new month, even though the Moon itself will have already moved or will have by the early hours of the 1st February. The Moon will return to your income sector on the 24th February, having come full circle, giving you a chance to check in that things are still on track. It's the Moon's visit to your financial sector from the 5th to the 7th February that gives you an intuitive read into your financial situation as a whole.

Business:
There is both end in sight and a chance to get things on the right track, as a very intense professional phase finally runs its course by the 10th February. It's on the 10th February that Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking leaves your career sector, bringing to a close a visit that began on the 6th December and has witnessed a lot of water under the bridge in that time. Normally here for just 3 weeks once a year, Mercury's extended stay allowed you to remain focused as the Sun and Venus came and went, during Mercury's retrograde phase and during last month's solar eclipse. Throughout it all your mind has been absorbing it all, even though the intensity of things is likely to have created a lot of pressure. It's in Mercury's final few days that things finally start falling into place, with an alignment with the North Node on the 3rd/4th February giving you a clear sense of direction. It's events around this time that bring the kind of clarity that allows you to set your sights on the right targets and to put things on the right road. Once on track, the North Node and Pluto will keep the momentum going for the rest of the year. There may be some work pressures on the last day of the month, as the Moon moves into your work sector ahead of a Full Moon on the 1st March.
