Due to leave your sign on the 10^th February Mercury is in the process of summing it all up, putting the finishing touches on your plans and strategies for the coming year. When you have this amount of time to plan and prepare for the future you have a much better chance of turning plans into reality, with this extra preparation time proving its worth as the year progresses. It's on the 10^th February that Mercury will join the Sun and Venus in your income sector, just in time to lend his support to Venus' final few days and in the lead up to a New Moon on the 14^th February. It's on the 12^th February that Venus leaves your income sector, moving into your communication sector. Considering that Jupiter, planet of luck is already here, this sees your heart become engaged in what is a big year for communications, big thinking and big plans. There is no planetary activity in either your romantic or relationship sectors this month and that's just the way you want it to be. This gives you a chance to cement the overload of information received in January, giving you a clear sense of what you want over the course of the coming year. It was Venus, planet of love's position in your sign last month that kicked off a new Venus cycle, while a lunar eclipse on New Year's Day cemented your relationship bottom lines for the year. This saw the majority of the things that will define things on the romantic and relationship fronts brought to the table, with February a month for cementing those into place. Until the 12^th February Venus is working in an area of your chart where she's not only boosting your confidence and your sense of entitlement, she's making it possible to once again start believing in the fairytale. It's her move into your communication sector on the 12^th February that is going to give your heart a voice, which is part of the process of preparing for the next round of romantic opportunities, which kick in from the 1^st April.

Money:
Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion may have left your income sector last month, but it seems that this is when things are just starting to happen. Jupiter's position in your income sector was all about setting the scene for your income opportunities and openings over the next decade, something that Saturn's arrival into your career sector has made a lot easier. It was just a day after Jupiter left your income sector that Venus arrives and just a day after that, that the Sun arrived. They both ran into some flack at the end of last month with, with both moving into opposition with Mars, in his last month in retrograde motion in your financial sector. Things came to a head with a Full Moon in your financial sector on the 30^th January, just 2 days before the month began. Whether this brought financial pressures and challenges or whether it inspired you, it has provided an opportunity for a breakthrough, with a new sense of resolve being born. With Mars even more determined to go into battle and to explore the past for as many opportunities as possible, the Sun and Venus are working to get things up to speed on the income front. With Venus leaving your income sector on the 12^th February and the Sun on the 19^th February, they're working to establish a clear sense of what you want and exactly where things stand. It's Mercury's arrival that gives you the strategic edge needed to bridge the gap between the two. Income opportunities peak on the 11^th February, the only full day this year that the Sun, Venus and Mercury are working together in your income sector and on the 14^th February, when a New Moon opens the door to new opportunities.

Business:
Saturn is spending his first full month in retrograde motion in your career sector, making this the first month since 1983 that you've had the chance to look back in a way that allows you to take responsibility and to learn from the past. Before Saturn eventually leaves your career sector in October 2012, he will have 3 retrograde periods, another in 2011 and for the last time in 2012. The next two times will be a lot more challenging, for Saturn will be under pressure himself and calling you to account for more recent actions and choices. This time he's backing right off, allowing you to do your own review, not just of recent actions and choices but to look back over the last 3 decades. For many this will mean a review of your whole professional life to date and you can't do that if there is pressure, judgement or if you're playing the blame game. This has to be done objectively.
