Leo February Stars
General:
No matter what you're tackling this month, whether you're tidying things up on the work front, making the most of opportunities on the relationship front or setting the scene for your next big financial breakthrough, you're likely to be doing it with enthusiasm. It is Mars, planet of passion's position in your sign that hit some heavy traffic and had slowed things down considerably. In retrograde motion since the 21st December, he had gained enough momentum to get things moving by mid January, allowing you to throw all your energies and passions into retracing your steps and making sure no stone was left unturned. Yet just when Mars was ready to get things moving, the Sun and Venus moved into your relationship sector, on the opposite side of the sky to Mars and your sign. Things came to a head in the final few days of January, with direct opposition with both Venus and the Sun. It was only on the 30th January, 2 days before the month began that things came to a point with a Full Moon in your sign. This is the Full Moon that marks the halfway point in your solar year and is a time when you are usually challenged and emerge determined and ready to make the second half of the year count. With Mars just 1 degree off and his oppositions with the Sun and Venus behind him, this also kicks off passionate Mars energy. With a lot happening on the work, relationship, financial and personal fronts, you're ready to throw yourself in and make it happen.
Love:
This is a big relationship month and even though Jupiter, planet of luck left last month, this is far from the end of the story. With Mercury moving into your relationship sector on the 10th February and Venus, planet of love leaving on the 12th February, there is just one full day this month when the Sun, Venus and Mercury will be together in your relationship sector and that day is the 11th February. This is destined to be a turning point and a line in the sand. Just hours before Mercury arrives an alignment between Neptune and Chiron ends, one that comes to a peak on the 8th February, which is an extremely magical day when it comes to believing in the fairy tale. There's a need to keep your rose coloured glasses on until the 11th February, for this is the period when you're establishing what you're aiming for and what you really want from your relationships. Once Venus leaves your relationship sector, on the 12th February things become more serious, with a New Moon on the 14th February, a day for not only committing to the future but to turning Venus' desires and fantasies into reality.
Money:
When the tide turns it really turns, with the financial pressures and challenges of 2009 making way for the opportunities of 2010. It's the same set of circumstances that made 2009 so challenging, that is setting the scene for a comeback, with seeds having already been planted last month. It was on the 18th January that Jupiter, planet of luck returned to your financial sector, for the first time since he was last here, between February 1998 and February 1999. With Uranus in your financial sector since 2003, everything you've been working towards for 6 years now is ready to come full circle. It's on the 12th February that Venus, planet of money, desire and the laws of attraction moves into your financial sector, joining forces with Jupiter here for the first time since 1999 and aligning with him here, for the first time since 1998. That happens on the 16th to the 18th February, days that are destined to be some of the luckiest financial days in a decade. Lucky because this gives you a very clear sense of what you want and what's possible, giving you something very definite to aim for. The Sun returns to your financial sector on the 19th February, for what is his annual review, finding that for the first time in 11 years luck is on your side. Expect financial pressure to build towards the end of the month, quite literally in the final hours. For the first time in 19 years we have a month without a Full Moon, but with the Full Moon falling in your income sector on the 1st March, it will start pushing a few buttons in order to get your attention, from mid afternoon on the 28th February.
Business:
If you're just starting to wake up to the fact that you're not a worker bee, even though you're starting to feel like one, then the end is in sight. An extremely busy and intense work period, that is likely to have seen you pushed to the edge many times over the last 2 months, is finally resolving itself. It is Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking that is wrapping up a phase that is all about putting things on a sustainable path. Like a car that needs to be push started, over the last 2 months it's likely to have seemed that you were pushing things uphill or that they were never going to fire into life on their own. That is already changing and with last month's solar eclipse and Mercury's own retrograde phase behind him, things are falling into place. Before Mercury leaves on the 10th February he has one last task to perform and that's to check in with the North Node, which he'll do on the 3rd/4th February. It's then that you'll gain a very defined sense of direction, as well as all the information needed in order to put things on the right track. By the time Mercury leaves your work sector on the 10th February, your aim is to have things on track, on a sustainable pace or to at least know what you need to do in order to make that happen.
