For you, February is a bridging month, where you're tying up loose ends, making plans for the future and setting things into a routine or a pattern. This may create a situation where you're not very grounded, with your head all over the place, looking ahead and back, seeing the present as a stepping stone between the two. It is Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking who until the 10^th February is wrapping things up on the income front. You're not only summing up the 2 months he's already spent here and all the water that's passed under the bridge since then, you're also making plans for the future, putting things in motion. At the same time Jupiter, planet of luck, is spending his first full month in your home and family sector, where your biggest opportunities in the first half and the last 3 months of 2010 lie. Yet while Venus, planet of love and the planet that rules the heart is still in your communication sector at the start of the month, she is already looking ahead. Until the 12^th February Venus is focused on giving your heart a voice and from then until the 8^th March she'll be working with Jupiter to make your life as love friendly as possible. Yet she has ulterior motives, aware of the huge romantic opportunities the year holds and that it all begins next month. Love:
When you're waiting for something to happen it always seems to take forever, yet once it does we often end up saying 'that didn't take so long after all'. That's what's happening to you on the romantic front this year, for while there is no activity in either your romantic or relationship sectors this month, as has been the case for several months now, it's the last month that there isn't. Venus, planet of love is due to move into your romantic sector on the 8^th March, nearly 2 weeks ahead of the Sun and earlier in the year than you'd normally expect to find her there. Due to open up a period of romantic activity that will be active for 2 months, but will set the scene for even bigger things to come, there is an urgent need this month to put your preparations into overdrive. Venus, planet of love, will start the month in your communication sector but will move into your home sector on the 12^th February, focused first on giving your heart a voice and then on making sure your life is as love friendly as possible. The more you work with Venus this month, the more you'll be ready for next month's opportunities.

Money:
As you move into the new month, you're in the final phase of wrapping up Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking's visit to your income sector, putting the finishing touches on your game plan for the coming year and making any important choices and decisions. Mercury normally spends less than 3 weeks in your income sector once a year and having moved in on the 6^th December he should be long gone by now. But 2 months on he's still here, having been delayed by a retrograde period that coincided with the Sun and Venus' visit and during which time a lunar eclipse fell in your financial sector and a solar eclipse in your income sector. It's on the 3^rd/4^th February that Mercury aligns with the North Node, his last real waypoint before getting ready to leave. It's the North Node that is able to give Mercury a clear sense of direction and of what you're aiming for, giving him accurate information in which to weave into a game plan. Due to leave your income sector on the 10^th February, it's in these last 10 days that you're able to tie up any loose ends, bring things full circle and put things on the most advantageous path possible. Once Mercury leaves your income sector this is far from the end of the story, with both Pluto and the North Node here all year and another series of eclipses midyear.

Business:
With Saturn not due to return to your career sector until the 8^th April, there is no need to make things more complicated than they need to be and to avoid creating challenges where there are none. This is especially true at the start and end of the month, with the Moon in your career sector on the 1^st and 2^nd February and then returning on the 28^th February. February is a month where for those in New Zealand there is no Full Moon, with last month's Full Moon having fallen on the 30^th January, just 2 days before the month began and the next Full Moon falling on the 1^st March, in your career sector. This makes it important to heed any wake up calls and listen to your intuition while the Moon is in your career sector in the first 2 days of the month, for it's a practice run for the next Full Moon. Yet this comes with it a need not to over react or make things harder than they need to be. The Moon returns to your career sector on the afternoon of the 28^th February, setting the scene for the Full Moon the next day. With the Moon bookending the month, beginning and ending the month in your career sector, this creates a month for listening to your intuition, without over reacting.
