This is where there have been many challenges in the past, with 5 oppositions from Saturn between November 2008 and May 2010, but this is finally behind us. Chiron will remain until the 20th July 2010 creating an opportunity for healing, before Jupiter and Uranus return bringing second chances and an opportunity to do what you weren't able to before. This will be an extremely lucky area of your chart between the 9th September 2010 and the 23rd January 2011. Continuously active from the 14th August 2010 to the 27th July 2026, the main thrust of what the future will bring will happen between September 2010 and January 2011.
The 2nd House rules:
Income, earnings, value, entitlement, believing in yourself, standing up for your rights, expectation, entitlement and indulgence. Ruled by Venus, the 2nd House is all about self value, knowing what you deserve, what you want and what you are worth. While this is an abundant area of your chart where there is often a gain in financial or material resources, it impacts all the currencies in your life. Ruled by Venus, the guiding principle here is desire and the laws of attraction.
So what's happening here?
Even though Uranus left your income sector on the 28th May and Jupiter on the 6th June, this is far from the end of the story. In fact, it's like preparing for a presentation, having put in all the hard work and being told 'sorry, we've run out of time'. You've been so busy dealing with the frustrations, challenges and delays, that you've had almost no chance to enjoy the benefits that having Jupiter in your income sector would normally create, which is to expand your income opportunities, your expectations and develop strong earnings potential.
In fact, not only had you been too busy dealing with challenges and fighting off oppositions, you've also been robbed of the time you usually have to work with Jupiter, who is usually here for a full 12 months and often for as long as 13 months. But as Jupiter left just 4 ½ months after arriving, I'd be asking for my money back if I didn't know better, which I do!
Your income sector has been active since Uranus, planet of surprise and synchronicity first moved in, in 2003. This was a single event, for he moved in and then out during the course of 2003, not finally making a commitment until December 2003 and until the 28th May that's where he'd been ever since. During that time Uranus has been opening your mind to how many options you have, encouraging you to look outside the square, bringing unexpected opportunities and opening up surprising new avenues.
For nearly 4 years Uranus had no problems at all, apart from the annual challenges every planet faces when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move into opposition once a year and Mars once every 2 years. You need these oppositions for they give you wake up calls, challenge your excuses and raise the bar, in order to stop you falling asleep at the wheel. However they usually only last a day or two and then they're gone.
This changed in September 2007 when Saturn moved into Virgo, ruler of your financial sector. That put arch rivals Uranus and Saturn into opposing signs, something that hadn't happened until the 1960's, setting the scene for and creating as much potential for personal, global and cultural change as we experienced then, when between 1964 and 1967 Uranus and Saturn, with a lot of help from Pluto, changed life as we knew it. The same kind of revolution or should that be evolution is taking place now and by coincidence, in the same way that it's playing out between your income and financial sectors now, it played out between those two areas of your chart back then, though the roles were reversed.
This is simply part of the readjustment that society goes through every 40 to 45 years and it's that process that we're in now and we are so, so, so close to being out of.
So while this is having a big impact on your income and financial situation, it's part of a global realignment, so hang in there.
Even though Saturn moved into your financial sector in September 2007, it would take another year before this caused a problem, with Saturn and Uranus not moving into opposition until November 2008 and once in opposition, they were locked in a dance where as one turned direct the other turned retrograde and when the other retrograded the other turned direct. This meant that there were multiple oppositions, first in November 2008, again in January/February 2009, again in September 2009 and again in April/May 2010. If you're feeling a little like a punching bag, especially when it comes to your financial situation or your confidence, that's why.
It was on the 18th January 2010 that Jupiter, planet of luck arrived and I can't blame him for wanting to get through as fast as he could. Instead of a leisurely stroll through your income sector, seizing opportunities and considering your options, something he normally spends 12 months doing, he was running for his life, dodging bullets in the process and no doubt slumping with relief when he left on the 6th June. Yet there you are, hands on hips saying 'hang on a minute, bullets or not, where are my opportunities'.
The reality is that in his mad dash through your income sector, in 3 times his normal pace Jupiter did snatch opportunities, you just didn't have time to notice them, especially as you were dodging bullets as well.
But all is not lost, for both Uranus and Jupiter are coming back. Call it an encore appearance or call it a 'get your butt back here and do it right' performance, all that they weren't able to achieve in the first 4 ½ months of the year, they'll soon be bending over backwards to put right.
By the 6th June 2010 both Jupiter and Uranus had moved onto your communication sector, but on the 6th July Uranus will turn retrograde and just 18 days later, on the 24th July, Jupiter will turn retrograde. That's right, they're on their way back!
Because Jupiter only manages to get to 3 degrees Aries, ruler of your communication sector and Uranus only to 00 degrees, their retrograde periods will bring them back here to your income sector.
Uranus is the first to return, on the 14th August, followed a few weeks later by Jupiter, on the 9th September. Jupiter's first words to Uranus are going to be 'is the coast clear', to which Uranus will reply 'it sure is'!
Not only is the coast clear, but with Chiron, planet of healing staying on in your income sector until the 20th July, there's been a chance to heal any bullet wounds or the slings and arrows thrown at you during the turbulent times you've been through.
When Jupiter and Uranus, the planets of luck and synchronicity return to your income sector Saturn is gone and I mean G.O.N.E - gone! Saturn leaves Virgo, ruler of your financial sector and opposing sign to your income sector on the 22nd July and he won't be back for another 3 decades. By this time both Jupiter and Uranus will have lived through another opposition, but it won't be here and by the time they return here there'll be no more Uranus/Saturn oppositions anywhere in your chart, for another 4 decades!
When Jupiter and Uranus return to your income sector, Uranus on the 14th August and Jupiter on the 9th September, they will encounter no opposition whatsoever. While there'll be some opposition from the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars as they move through your financial sector, it's tiny compared to what you've been through and will be more about pushing to make the most of the opportunities there to be seized.
Jupiter and Uranus are both back here for a relatively short period of time, with Jupiter leaving on the 23rd January 2011 and Uranus on the 12th March 2011. With Jupiter not returning until 2021 and Uranus not until 2087, never teaming up again here in your lifetime, they'll be doing their best to not only make up for the challenges of recent years and the missed opportunities in the first half of the year, but to bring some of the biggest opportunities in decades, if ever.
During their time together in your income sector, Jupiter and Uranus will align multiple times. They'll align first on the 9th to the 12th September, the moment Jupiter returns, again from the 17th to the 24th September, again on the 28th December to the 3rd January 2011 and finally on the 4th to the 11th January 2011. Their last alignment will end just 12 days before Jupiter is due to leave and both will be throwing everything they have into creating as many opportunities as possible.
This makes the whole period, from the 9th September 2010 to the 23rd January 2011, some of the most opportune EVER, when it comes to income opportunities and when it comes to turning the tables on past financial challenges.
Once Jupiter leaves your income sector on the 23rd January 2011, Uranus won't be on his own for long, with his final weeks here seeing him receive some of his biggest support ever. With the Sun in your income sector from the 19th April to the 21st March, Mercury from the 22nd February to the 10th March and Mars from the 23rd February to the 2nd April Uranus' final days will be his best. As Uranus leaves on the 12th March 2011, not to return again in our lifetime but maybe in our children's he's surrounded by planets and forces that are determined to see him go out in style. So while Jupiter will be gone, the opportunities here will continue to cascade.
At this point Venus is travelling at the back of the pack, with a retrograde period later this year slowing her down, so she won't arrive until the 27th March 2011, after not only Uranus but the Sun and Mercury have already moved on and Mars is just days away from leaving. It's while Venus is in your income sector, between the 27th March and the 21st April that something happens that I put into a 'now that's really bizarre' category. For while Uranus is in his final days and well into his swansong Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies moves into your income sector, on the 5th April 2011, for the first time since 1862. What are the odds that the planet that hasn't visited your income sector since sailing ships were ferrying our ancestors to far flung areas of the globe, should arrive for the first time in 147 years, just 2 ½ weeks after Uranus leaves and when Venus, planet of money, desire and the laws of attraction has your full attention and when the laws of attraction are working in your favour.
Apart from Chiron, who returns to your income sector on the 9th February and will remain on until April 2018, Venus is the only planet to greet Neptune when he arrives. While Neptune will retrograde back out on the 5th August 2011, he'll return on the 4th February 2012, staying on until the March 2025. This means that apart from the few months that your income sector will be empty, from Jupiter's departure on the 6th June and Uranus' return on the 14th August 2010, a period of just over 2 months, there will be continuous activity here for the next 15 years.
So did Jupiter and Uranus wrap things up when they left at the end of May and early June? Absolutely not, for you haven't even begun to tap into what's possible. What is over are the challenges, the hard times and the difficulties, but it's what you've had to fight so hard for that has opened the door to a period of huge opportunities and growth, with the opportunities Jupiter and Uranus open the door to between September 2010 and January 2011 opening up an ongoing period where you'll deserve all that the future offers.
A Full Moon falls in your income sector on the 25th August 2010, in between Uranus' return on the 14th August and Jupiter's on the 9th September. This will bring to a head or to fruition things that you invested in during March/April 2010 and anything that pressures in the first half of the year got the ball rolling on.
A New Moon in your income sector on the 5th March 2011 falls a week to the day before Uranus is due to leave and while the Sun, Mars and Mercury are all working with him to make things happen. It's this New Moon that represents an opportunity to commit to the future and could see all that you've been working for or towards, for so long, finally come together to present that perfect moment in time when the stars align and the gods smile on you, telling you to 'go for it'.
