ARIES
While as you move into the New Year things are steady and locked into position on both sides of the financial fence, this belies the changes that took place in the closing weeks of 2025. After six years, Uranus had left and ended all planetary activity on the income front in July, only to retrograde back in four months later, right in the heart of the most active months of the year on the other side of the financial fence, the side where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have. This saw both sides of the financial fence compete for your attention, right up to the moment Mercury left your financial sector in December. While you move into the new year with no planetary activity in your financial sector and there will be none until later in the year, with a chance to begin 2026 with a smart head for money and read on money matters.
Meanwhile, this has left the path clear for the income side of the financial fence, where having retrograded back for six months, Uranus is in the pursuit of the past, second chances and untapped income potential, while working to leave you with a clear sense of where the money is and of your priorities. Uranus won’t turn direct until 5th February, which is when the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected will start getting ready to leave again on 26th April, this time not returning again for another eight decades. Before that can happen Venus, the planet of money will return from 31st March to 24th April, with a chance to work with Uranus to make these some of the most potentially lucrative weeks of the year.
During this time, with the laws of attraction and synchronicity both in effect, these really could be some of the most lucrative weeks of the year. By the end of April both will be gone, but with the Sun returning from 20th April to 21st May, Mercury from 3rd May to 17th May and Mars from 19th May to 29th June, there will be plenty of time to exploit all available income potential. Meanwhile, it is in the second half of the year that the focus will shift to the other side of the financial fence, starting with Venus’ return from 10th September to 25th October. Because Venus will retrograde back out, she will return for a do over from 4th December 2026 to 7th January 2027 and with the Sun and Mercury moving through while she’s gone, with a chance to first update your financial desires, hopes and aspirations and then return to help turn them into reality.
TAURUS
While Mercury will begin the year in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, he will not only leave on 2nd January, but after that, with very little focus on this side of the financial fence for the rest of the year. Even Venus, who left on Christmas Day and won’t come full circle until early 2027, won’t spend any time here this year or will Mars, who had left a week before the Sun, which on the December solstice will always take the solar spotlight off your financial situation and money matters. Apart from the Moon’s monthly visits, there will be no focus on this side of the financial fence until the Sun returns from 22nd November to 22nd December and Mercury from 6th December to 26th December.
However, with a chance to start the year with a sharp nose for money and everything needed to stay on top of money matters. Meanwhile, while Mercury’s departure from your financial sector on 2nd January will not only end all planetary activity here but with no planets in either of your two money houses, it won’t stay that way. A low key year for money matters is instead destined to be a big year on the income side of the financial fence. It begins with Venus, the planet of money’s return to your income sector on 24th April to begin what she will always be working to make the most lucrative weeks of any year, something that two days later will get a massive boost, with the return of Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected on 26th April.
While Venus is only here until 19th April, Uranus is here until 2033, with these early weeks where they are able to bring the laws of attraction and synchronicity into play, setting the scene for not just the most potentially lucrative weeks of 2026, but months if not years. It is while Mercury is here from 17th May to 2nd June that you will have his smart head for money to draw on, while as always, the Sun will have the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options from 21st May to 21st June. While you will have to wait until April for things to kick off on the income fronts, with time to first take advantage of some active months on the job front and a chance to give income potential something to piggyback off.
GEMINI
On both sides of the financial fence things start out strong and they are going to stay that way for a good portion of the year. Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of each year in your financial sector, the solar spotlight is always on your financial situation and money matters as you move into the New Year. However, for the first time in 12 years, you are also moving into the year with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in your income sector and at the halfway point in what he is working to make your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade. Not leaving until 30th June but in retrograde motion until 11th March, Jupiter is in no hurry and shouldn’t get in the way of what will be an active start to the year on the other side of the financial fence.
This year you not only begin the year with the Sun in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have but with Venus, the planet of money having returned on Christmas Day, Mars having returned last month for his first visit in two years and Mercury returning with a chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game and to think on your feet from 2nd January to 21st January. While Venus will leave and end her mission to update your financial desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year on 18th January, the Sun will take the solar spotlight off money matters on 20th January and Mars will leave on 23rd January, they will leave behind a secret weapon.
This should end all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence, though with Mars the last to leave, with your financial passions and fighting spirit fired up. Instead, they will not only leave the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment behind, even when she leaves on 29th March she will turn around and retrograde back in from 12th August to 24th October. This will help you set and stick to your financial resolutions. Meanwhile, the most lucrative months of the year will kick off when Venus returns and joins Jupiter in your income sector from 19th May to 13th June, something that will bring the laws of attraction and the element of luck together. While Jupiter will leave on 30th June, by then the Sun and Mercury will be here and it is when Mars moves through from 11th August to 28th September that he will work to ensure no stone has been left unturned.
CANCER
While this is one year when first impressions will give you a good sense of what kind of financial year you have moved into, this will only be part of the story, with this year’s biggest surprise being how potentially lucrative it is set to become in the second half of the year. Until then, it is the Moon’s monthly visits to your income sector that will keep you on track and help to attract any income potential along the way, with the most significant of those likely to be a Full Moon on 2nd February. This will be during Neptune’s early days back in your career sector, with the potential to act as a trigger on both fronts. This is a Full Moon that will always fall at some point during the Sun’s month long visit to your financial sector and when the focus is firmly on the other side of the financial fence.
Even more so as Pluto, the planet of change and transformation enters his second full year in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have. This is something you should be getting a hang of and while here now until 2044, an early sense of where you are best able to take your financial power back. While Pluto is playing a long game, the planets that will move through your financial sector in the early months of the year are doing anything but. With Venus, the planet of money moving through from 18th January to 10th February, the Sun from 20th January to 19th February, Mars from 23rd January to 3rd March and Mercury from 28th January to 15th February, this is the most active point in the year for money matters.
While things will dial back after Mars leaves on 3rd March, with his financial passions and fighting spirit banked, with Pluto staying on to keep things on track. Meanwhile, it is while Venus is moving through your income sector from 13th June to 10th July to do what she can to make these the most lucrative weeks of any year that everything will change. It is while Venus is here that on 30th June Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will return to begin your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade, which will run through to July 2027. Venus will leave on 10th July, but the Sun will return from 23rd July to 23rd August and Mercury from 10th August to 25th August. However, it is when Mars moves through from 28th September to 26th November that there could be some major breakthroughs.
LEO
While this financial year is divided into two halves, with the first half more focused on the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have and the second half when the focus will be on the income side of the financial fence, the fact that this is even the case means there is a major shift about to take place. Since as far back as 2010, there have been major outer planets moving through your financial sector and while there were parts of the year when the income side of the financial fence became active, rarely on their own and without having to keep things balanced. You had a brief taste of that last year when after 12 years Neptune left your financial sector at the end of March and Saturn two months later.
However, not for long, with Saturn back within three months and Neptune a month later, though with the planets that moved through your income sector last year taking advantage of that rare gap. Those planets are long gone and you not only start the year with Neptune and Saturn still in your financial sector, but with the faster planets returning to keep this side of the financial fence active, the side where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have. However, change is in the air for when Neptune leaves your financial sector on 27th January, it will be another 150 years before he returns and when Saturn leaves on 14th February, it will be another three decades before he returns. The days of continuous planetary activity on this side of the financial fence are over, but starting with Venus’ return on 10th February and ending with Mars’ departure on 10th April, with a chance to take your financial power back.
Apart from the Moon’s monthly visits, your financial sector will remain empty for the rest of the year and until the Sun and the faster planets return next year. This will leave the field clear for the income side of the financial fence to thrive, which it will start to do when Venus returns to your income sector from 10th July to 7th August to begin what she will be working to make the most lucrative weeks of any year. This will be followed by the Sun’s return from 23rd August to 23rd September and Mercury’s return from 23rd August to 11th September. However, the planet that will really exploit this will be Mars, with the warrior planet of the cosmos returning to declare war on income roadblocks and barriers from 26th November 2026 to 22nd February 2027.
VIRGO
As you move into the New Year, on both sides of the financial fence it will be business as usual, though with a lot of history and momentum from last year to draw on. While there will be no planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence until the second half of the year and even then, it is the other side of the financial fence that is going to be the more dominant this year Venus, the planet of money will be doing her best to make up for that. There will be signs of what is to come when Venus returns to your income sector from 7th August to 10th August to begin what she will always be working to make the most lucrative weeks of any year. The clues are in the amount of time Venus will spend here, for instead of just 24 days when the laws of attraction are in effect, she is here for over a month.
There is only one explanation for that, which is that Venus will be slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn that will see her return from 25th October to 4th December. Venus will be both the first planet to return to your income sector this year and the last to leave and with the Sun and Mercury moving through between her two visits, this will make the whole period from Venus’ return on 7th October to her departure on 4th December the most lucrative months of year, with help throughout that time from Pluto in your work sector and Uranus in your career sector. Meanwhile, while the other side of the financial fence will have powered up by then, with Neptune in retrograde motion in your financial sector from 7th July to 13th December and Saturn from 27th July to 11th December, while money matters are in review mode.
By the time you move into 2026 Neptune and Saturn have yet to return, but that will change when Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returns on 27th January to spend the next 13 years here and Saturn on 14th February, when until he leaves in April 2028 they will work as a team, giving you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to take your financial power back. Meanwhile, there will be a chance to take a more proactive approach to money matters now, rather than focus on the big picture, when from Venus’ return to your financial sector on 6th March to Mars’ departure on 19th May, they not only move through but the Sun and Mercury as well.
LIBRA
This is the year when you will finally get back to a more balanced approach or to what is a typical financial year, which is to have the focus on the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have in the first half of each year and on the income side of the financial fence in the second half. As the Sun will always move through your financial sector and then return to your income sector six months later and the faster planets travelling with him, this is what a typical financial year looks like or at least it did until in 2019, Uranus returned to your financial sector and stayed there. Uranus did leave last July, only to retrograde back in four months later and right in the heart of the most active months of the year on the income front.
Money matters weren’t quite ready to end their dominance, but that is about to change with Uranus, the planet that has helped guide money matters for the last seven years finally leaving on 26th April and this time, he won’t be back for another eight decades. However, this not only gives you nearly four months to work with Uranus to take your financial power back, but just as the most active months of any year for money matters will be playing out. This kicks off with Venus, the planet of money’s return from 31st March to 24th April, while as will always be the case, the Sun will have the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters from 20th April to 21st May. You will have access to Mercury’s smart head for money from 3rd May to 17th May and from 19th May to 29th June, Mars will return with a chance to fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit.
This time, for the first time in over seven years, this will not only end all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence, but it will stay that way for the rest of the year, leaving the field clear for the income side of the financial fence to thrive. Seizing that chance will be Venus, with the planet of money returning from 10th September to 25th October to begin what she will always work to make the most lucrative weeks of any year. This is far longer than the 24 days she will normally spend here and instead, a retrograde turn on 3rd October will see her leave by retrograding back out, only to return again from 4th December to 7th January 2027. Even Mercury, who will normally move through in 14 to 15 days will turn retrograde, giving you access to his smart head for money from 1st October to 6th December.
SCORPIO
While there is set to be very little planetary activity in your income sector this year, with Venus not returning at all and once Mercury leaves on 2nd January, apart from the Moon’s monthly visits nothing until he and the Sun return in December, with enough already banked. When Mercury leaves on 2nd January, he won’t just have spent the normal 14 to 15 days giving you the smart head for money needed to think on your feet and make smart choices and decisions. Instead, while Mercury had returned at the end of October, after three weeks, he retrograded back out, only to return to start over and in that time the Sun, Venus and Mars all moved through. Venus, the planet of money only left your income sector on Christmas Day and Juno, the queen of commitment on 30th December 2025, leaving you with everything needed to take it from here on your own.
It helps that while when Mercury leaves your income sector on 2nd January this will end all planetary activity here until December, it will leave you with no planetary activity in either of your two money houses. While it is the other side of the financial fence that is set to dominate this year, not until April, giving you time to let things settle and bake in on the income side. Things will start to move when on 24th April Venus, the planet of money returns to your financial sector to not only begin the first planetary activity on this side of the financial fence for the year, the side where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, but six years of continuous planetary activity. Venus herself is only here until 19th May, but on 26th April she will be joined by Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected.
Uranus had returned last year for the first time in 77 years but retrograded back out four months later. This time, Uranus is here to stay and until leaving in 2033 will open your eyes to new and more authentic ways of seeing money matters and of taking your financial power back. In the short term, as Venus rules through the laws of attraction and Uranus through the laws of synchronicity, for the few weeks they are together, both will be in effect. Before Venus leaves, Mercury will return, with a chance from 17th May to 2nd June to work with his smart head for money while as is always the case, the Sun will return to put the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters from 21st May to 21st June.
SAGITTARIUS
In their own way, both sides of the financial fence are not only holding their own this year, but in the early part of the year in particular, are providing the kind of competition that can keep things balanced while at the same time, each side is able to take its turn. Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of each year in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on the income side of the financial fence at the start of each year and even more so this year. It was a week before the Sun returned on the December solstice that Mars returned for his first visit to your income sector in two years and until leaving on 23rd December, he will be declaring war on income roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined.
Taking advantage of this will be Venus, who until leaving on 18th January will be working to get the year off to a lucrative start, in a way that only the planet of money, desire and attraction can. With the Sun leaving on 20th January and Mercury moving through from 2nd January to 21st January, the most active weeks of the year on the income front will all be packed into the first 23 days. Mars’ departure on 23rd January should end all planetary activity in your income sector for the year but instead, after working as a team to get the year off to a lucrative start, as the Sun and planets move on, they will leave a secret weapon behind.
That secret weapon is the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment, who returned to your income sector on 30th December and will leave on 29th March, but will then retrograde back in again from 12th August to 24th October. This will help you set and then stick to your income resolutions. Meanwhile, while the year is getting off to an active start on the income side of the financial fence, at the halfway point in his 12 month quest for financial growth and expansion, Jupiter is in retrograde motion in your financial sector and will be until turning direct on 11th March. Having given the income side of the financial fence a chance to have its turn and leaving on 30th June, this is when Jupiter will pull the focus back to the other side of the financial fence, where it is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. From Venus’ return on 19th May to Mars’ departure on 28th September, these will be the most active months of the year for money matters.
CAPRICORN
While it might not be obvious at first or for several months for that matter, 2026 is destined to be a big year on both sides of the financial fence. As you move into the New Year, both the short and long term focus is on the income side of the financial fence, while within the first three weeks of the year, the most lucrative months of 2026 will be underway. Long term with Pluto, the planet of change and transformation entering the second full year of a 20 year transit through your income sector, you are just starting to get a feel for his influence and of where this is drawing your attention and focus. However, Pluto is playing a long game and that is not the case for the planets returning to your income sector, starting with Venus, the planet of money’s return on 18th January.
From 18th January to 10th February, Venus will be working to make these some of the most lucrative weeks of the year, but as well as support from Pluto from the start, there is even more support underway. Over just the next few days, the Sun will return, putting the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options from 20th January to 19th February and Mercury will return from 21st January to 7th February with the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. However, the game changer will be Mars’ return, with the warrior planet of the cosmos returning to declare war on income roadblocks and barriers for the first time in two years from 23rd January to 3rd March.
Meanwhile, with Pluto in your income sector until 2044 things aren’t going to go off the boil, but he will spend from 7th May to 16th October in retrograde motion, which is when there will be time to review and when the focus will be less on new and more on the past and untapped income potential. During this time, this will give the other side of the financial fence its turn, which it is going to grab with both hands and run with it. While it is Venus’ return from 13th June to 10th July that will kick off the first planetary activity in your financial sector for the year, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have, it is while she is here that on 30th June, Jupiter will return to begin your biggest year for financial growth and expansion in over a decade. This will have the support of the Sun and Mercury in the early months, but especially from Mars, who will fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit from 28th September to 26th November.
AQUARIUS
While it is usually the case that in the first half of the year the focus is more on the income side of the financial fence, while in the second half it shifts to the other side, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, not as completely as it will this year. The year begins, as it has done since he first returned in 2012, with Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams in your income sector and since his return in March 2023, with Saturn here as well. While both left last year, only for a few months before retrograding back in, with a second chance to get serious about doing whatever it takes for as long as it takes to turn hopes, dreams and aspirations into reality. However, both are back in direct motion and getting ready to leave, Neptune not to return for another 150 years and Saturn for another three decades.
However, while Neptune will leave on 27th January, before any of the faster planets can return, Mercury’s return to your income sector on 7th February and Venus, the planet of money’s return on 10th February will be in time to capture Saturn’s final days, before he too leaves on 14th February. With neither returning, there will be nothing to keep the income side of the financial fence active all year, with all planetary activity ending for the year when Mercury leaves on 15th April. However, with a lot of time to explore and exploit the income potential and momentum created and especially with Jupiter in your work sector until 30th June. Until she leaves on 6th March, Venus will be working to make her time here some of the most lucrative weeks of the year, with the Sun putting the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options from 19th February to 21st March.
While you normally only have 14 to 15 days to work with Mercury’s smart head for money, a retrograde turn will keep him in your income sector from 7th February to 15th April, while Mars will return from 3rd March to 10th April to declare war on income roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined. Meanwhile, by the time Venus returns to begin the first planetary activity in your financial sector for the year on 10th July, there will be no planets in your income sector for money matters to compete with. Between then and the Sun’s departure on 23rd September there will be a chance to get on top of money matters. In a standalone visit, Mars will return from 26th November 2026 to 22nd February 2027 with a chance to fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit.
PISCES
While your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have will have its turn in the second half of the year, the year not only begins with all the focus on the income side of the financial fence, but it will stay that way. To start with, it is business as usual, with the dwarf planet Ceres not wrapping up her last deep dive into your income needs and priorities until 15th March and Chiron and Eris, the major players that for years have been keeping things on track, still in retrograde motion as you move into the New Year. However, it won’t be long before things start waking up, with Chiron turning direct on 3rd January and the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos on 12th January. Both will be in direct motion and ready to help move things forward when on 27th January, Neptune returns.
It was last year that Neptune returned to your income sector for the first time in 150 years and while the planet of hopes and dreams retrograded back out seven months later, with time to start laying down the foundations for what will be a 13 year visit. On 14th February, Neptune will be joined by Saturn, who for the first time in three decades also returned last month, only to retrograde back out three months later. This time Saturn is back until April 2028, where he can work with Neptune to give you the resolve to whatever it takes for as long as it takes. With Neptune and Saturn back, they are here for the long haul but it is Venus, the planet of money’s return from 6th March to 31st March to begin what she will be working to make some of the most lucrative weeks of 2026, that the focus will be on what you can exploit now.
Over the coming months, the Sun will move through from 20th March to 20th April, Mars from 10th April to 19th May and Mercury from 15th April to 3rd May, all contributing to making these not only the most lucrative months of 2026, but it is setting things in motion that Saturn and Neptune can continue to nurture. This includes when the Sun, Venus and Mercury return to your financial sector to put the focus on the other side of the financial fence. Venus will be the first to move through, with a visit from 7th August to 10th September, a chance to update your desires, hopes and aspirations ahead of Mercury’s return from 11th September to 1st October and the Sun’s return from 23rd September to 23rd October. It is two days after the solar spotlight shifts off your financial situation and money matters that Venus will retrograde back in to tie up loose ends from 25th October to 4th December.
